brake upgrade

I have almost no knowledge about the price range of getting bigger brakes. Could anyone explain how that works? I currently have sports package and I would like to upgrade

Default brake upgrade

I currently have sports package and I would like to upgrade to 6/4.. or better one with 4/2 if 6/4 setup is too expensive.
I really don't care about the caliper color but just need a better brake performance.
Should I get the kits or will it be just okay to change brake pads, rotor, brake line, etc?
What should I change and how much do they cost usually? (not like insane brake system but mediocre price...)

p.s I will be getting s/c soon and that's the reason I want better ones.

are you going to be tracking the car? Even though you're going s/c, upgrading the pads and lines should be sufficient if you're not tracking the car.

You should be fine just upgrading the pads, rotors, lines & fluid on the Akebono's as long as your not doing any repeated hard stops like on a track.

Z1 Motorsports
StopTech's will run you about $5,300 all 4
Rotora 6/4 14"/13" will run you about $3,500 all 4
Rotora 8/4 15"/15" will run you about $5,800 all 4

Upgrading to these brakes allow you to go longer without the brakes fading out on you. If you just drive on the street, these are a bit overkill. Don't get me wrong, they look downright badazz, but slowing down from 100mph is no different on a supercharged or n/a car. You might need bigger wheels to clear the calipers, so I would take that into consideration also.
