swift sport springs

i just ordered a set of sport springs for the z

. aaand i was wondering if someone could explain the difference between the normal sport and the spec r's. I have heard that the normal sports are not as agressive of a ride but offer a slightly stiffer than stock feel, while the spec r's are a slightly firmer ride than the sports and more designed for the track. I THINK both offer the same drop.

Someone school me on this please!

on a side note, getting ready to order camber arms and i was jw why it seems that EVERYONE is using spc camber arms. Is there any advantage to using those over lets say ichiba's or kinetix. to be honest i like the way those other two kits are priced a little more

sport and spec r's are the same. You may not need a camber kit but some people do since they can't get theirs back to factory or close to factory specs. Swift made them for performance over looks but IMO i think they are good all in all. Many people on the forums run swift springs and seem to be happy with the choice they made.

so is a camber kit something that some people with swifts are getting away without having? i mean how many people have actually gotten there cars back in factory spec after installing these things?

I run spec-r's and I love them. Ride is the same unless you are on a rough surface then yes its way more harsh. I think the drop is 1.25" front and 1" rear. With my setup there was no camber adjustment in the front without adding cambers arms or shims, and the rear I was able to get the rear left to .01 out of range and the right rear is .05 out of range. I don't think its bad enough to seriously affect tire wear, gonna have it looked at every 6 months to keep track of alignment and wear. Also, I took the front air guards off when I lowered it on swifts and surprisingly I scrape less now than factory height.
