wheel Spacer question

hey edub- are you thinking about spacers for your Nurbs? if so (as i posted a few times already) take your wheels off the car and check to see if the back of your wheels offer voids (cavity) between the lugs where the stock studs would protrude past the 15mm you're thinking about doing.

bascially you need to study a little more about the 2 different spacers available.

You're probably okay using 5mm on your Nurbs, but NOT okay if you're thinking about using them on stock sport wheels. the reason being the stock wheels are hubcentric by design (your nurbs are lugcentric by design) and have a taper going into the center bore where the car's hub mates with the wheel. if you sandwich a 5mm spacer the wheel will not sit correctly on the hub due to that taper.

also as chris mentioned above, if you can get more than 5 turns on the lug when using your Nurbs you're probably okay and ideally i like to get 7 turns as well on non-aluminum lugs. if you're use lightweight lugs (duraluminum type) i dont recommend u do the 5mm spacer unless you install longer studs. the material is soft.
