How are your brakes?
09 with sport option..
Not been too impressed with the brakes on my Z, any one else in the same boat... Changing lines and fluid today, next up some HPS+ pads all round , but jeez, they dont seem too clever.

Maybe its just mine, or maybe I brake later then most when up in the hills?? I dunno just not that great fot the 'on paper' set up, hopefully the upgrades will get it a little more responsive and solid.
Just hill work , no track time as yet in the Z and stock RAYs

In my case I carry my 17yr old kid which add an extra 140 to my 185 that I'm hauling around the canyons. I'm usually going into the corners with very little braking, I let the suspension and tires hold the car around the curves to almost its limits even with the stock tires. But again others might be a little more aggresive with late braking technic?

185 lbs and half a tank of gas,,, I have a lot of track time with spec'd up brakes, I feel I have a good understanding of a decent pedal feel and expected response relative to hardware, just feel mine are lacking.... dissapointed I have to upgrade for light work, like the oil cooler scenario I guess

yah, sounds like braking technique. 185lbs + gas is hardly enough to overwelm.
triples, your kid's okay with all the turning? people usually get motion sickness when im carving canyons. |

They def are over whelmed, but granted even on track I brake as late as possible (not in this Z) but thats my driving style, I use the weight transfer to my advantage.. couple hundread for initial upgrade, see how it flys I guess.
