even with the dust.......it wipes right off if you caught it early on....if its black you might need some soap and water.... (meaning a couple of days a- a weeks worth of buildup)

Just get into the habit of wiping them down after a days drive.....thats what i initially did.
this is best done dry .

but with the advancements in pad material you don't have to have excessive dust. or give up that excellent braking . My other Z has 6 pot brembo's up front...and it was horribly black after a day of driving.....my cheif mechanic says all Zo6 do this...so i switched to a comprable ceramic pad..Nothing quite like a clean car. Now minimal dust. So i did th same on the 370
hell all my cars have ceramic pads.

Perhaps the germans wash there cars more often. But safety is first.
