Yes they can. Theres a few pictures floating around here somewhere with the Swifts on a Nismo.

These are the only springs that will increase the performance of a nismo Z. Because the rates are actually stiffer than the Nismo springs.

Are the Swift springs stiff enough in corners? or should i look at a coilover kit. cause im leaning more towards somethin more legit than springs. how do u guys feel about something like this? the sport spec set up sounds stiff enough in the rear for me

i'm no expert, but if you're drifting and need a stiff setup to do so, then i think you're defenitely in coilover territory.

To add to what advice others have given you, you will not be able to drift at all without getting a limited slip differential since you have the base Z. The two best streetable LSDs that I have seen are the OS Giken and the Quaife differentials and install into the base differential with zero modifications.

If installed on a Nismo, is the camber kit necessary?

Word!
Thank you christian for that advise.i knew id have to change a lot so i dont even want to waste my $$ on sport package garbage. Ill do my research on those diffs but what do u all know about the carbonetics diff?
This seems to be the popular one but like christian said, street driving has to be smooth also

I heard that swift spring does not need any camber kits ect so I will go for the swift and in the waiting till the price go down a bit. as all of us know, the price goes down within one or two years after they are on the market place :)

Right no camber kit needed. But as far as price goes, remember these products are imported from Japan so it all depends on the exchange rate. I've been modifying cars since I was 18 and in the past 4-6 years all I've seen are prices going up every year.

As an example I just bought a set of Advan RG2s for my project car and they went up in price this month due to exchange rate. So don't be surprise if these springs cost $400+ in the near future. Unless of course the US dollar starts to gain some strength. <But who knows with the way things are going in this crazy world. :tiphat:

Call Seb at SpecialtyZ; he installed them for me for $250, great guy with great rates. I have had a number of parts installed by him and he has been faultless each time.

Just had mine installed Saturday for $250 also. The only other place I went wanted between 4-500.

For those who are looking for Swift Springs they're on back order until March. I suggest you start pre-ordering though:
Swift Spec-R Springs 370Z 08+
and for those local Floridians we also install
