If you're looking into something low without sacrificing ride quality, look into the Stance GR+ with full coilover type rear. They have a fully threaded shock body and the mount design allows for damper body adjustment without affecting spring preload. I used this setup before I went over to the A'pexi coilovers.

Keep in mind that the more you lower your car, the more the suspension geometry changes/roll center is effected but since you're going to be slamming it I'm assuming you don't care

Benefits of Full coilover rear design vs separate shock and strut?

Easier to set up and adjust for ride height and preload, especially since you don't have to worry about whether the shock height is too high/low for the height of the separate spring. One main flaw in a separate shock/spring design with lowered cars is the spring has a tendency to rattle in the lower arm if the shock isn't set up correctly. That and you can reduce shock travel if the shock isn't adjusted to where it should be.

Also it's a little easier to corner balance if you desire.

Full coilover rears would be simpler to adjust with regards to ride height and suspension adjustments. For most shops (us included) more common installs such as coilovers/coilover ride height adjustment are done at flat rates rather than hourly, so it may depend on the shop you go to.

hmm now i'm confused. i was pretty set on going with the BC BR's, but they have the separate shock and spring in the rear, now i'm confused again! i only plan to lower an inch, 1.2 inches at most.

my amazing girlfriend purchased some Stance GR+ Coilovers for my birthday, and can't wait to install them next week. I plan on slamming the car, and all that I'm waiting on is my 20's to come in and I'm set. I'm really excited! lol and i'll keep u posted on the coilover install and ride quality, etc.
