Fair price for springs Install

They are not including the alignment. IMHO stillen is wayyy overpriced. If you compare stillen to amplified, I'm saving $140 on the springs + install. As stated earlier I don't

As stated earlier I don't have the balls to try it myself. I attempted to lower my old tc and it was a major fail. Ended up paying $100 to have them installed. Easy as pie

You can pay about $50 to have Goodyear swap the front springs out. I paid $
20 to have a car shop do this for me, which is Easier than using a spring compressor and trying to get the top nut off without a power tool.

You're better off paying amplified to install the springs.

If you do it yourself you can buy all the tools and still be ahead. Get a Harbour Freight race jack. Low profile and perfect for the Z. Get a breaker bar and extension set. BUT MAKE SURE YOU GET A 6 POINT SOCKET set!!!! You can do it and save the $$$$$$$

Resurrection!

Im considering doing this install. I know I can, I just dont feel like actually doing it. lol

I got quoted by a shop here in MD for 630 just for H&R springs and rear camber kit.

Also got quoted by AAM down in Annapolis for $450 for the same thing. Looks like I'll be doing it myself. I have my first service appointment tomorrow at Nissan. I'm gonna try to talk to the guy that sold me my car and see if he can hook me up with any discounts. Ill pay $250 for springs and the kit installed but not much more than that.

I doubt that I'll find a place that cheap, so I'll probably be doing it myself Saturday. Lol

Stay away. You are dead on to what I paid for mine last weekend. $260 to install the H&R Springs, a rear camber kit, and toe bolts by a forum sponsor. The highest that was quoted for me was $400 from another forum sponsor. For $630, it would cover what I just mentioned plus a complete set of DRS spacers from H&R installed - stud replacement not bolt on which is more work.

Okay thanks! Car is getting serviced now. When I go pick it up in a few hours I'm going to ask them about installing the springs and how much they want to rape my wallet for.

cool. It'll sit really low and have this awesome stance. people will be staring at your car. be ready for some scrapin' on the front end though. Specially if you have a front lip that sit low. You will know every dip on the freeway and road you use. You will also get to know which driveways in town to avoid. but hell it looks great. have fun with it and enjoy.

Dont forget to post some pix after.

Thanks! All in all, I think I would have been better off with coilovers, but I'm content at the moment. Later on down the road I'll switch over

Sorry for reviving this form the dead, but a local shop just quoted me $898.87 to INSTALL swift springs, rear spl camber links, and SPC toe bolts. 109.91 an hr for labor seems high... I already have the parts, here was the breakdown:

4.5 hours labor = $494.60 to install springs
2 hours laber = $219.82 to install rear camber arms and toe bolts
1 hour labor = $109.91 to align
+ $14.78 in shop supplies.

That's too much right? Or am I in a different ballgame than I was with the 350z...
