I think you installed the springmounts upside down. That is what you use to lower the z, not the shocks.
DIY coilover install take a look at my last pic of my coilovers. If I were you I would take it to a shop that knows how to install coilovers that separate the shocks and springs because you're going to have to preload the rears or they will rattle.

How are you going to adjust the collars when you can't reach it because it's inside the lower metal arm thing? You should remove the top rubber piece, flip your spring and the spring mount around and make sure the rubber piece that sits in the metal pan is still there. I'm pretty sure this is how your megans are supposed to be assembled.
