Out of curiosity what made you sink the $$$ into the bar? Are you planning to use it as a harness mount point? Are those flanges to which the bar mounts really stout enough for that type of an application?

To answer the second part of your question, i was going to use it for a harness bar, and mount my 4 point to it...BUT contrary to what i had been told, you cant really adjust it to get the mount holes facing the driver. The bar is designed with the R/H drive 370z in mind. And its not safe to mount 2 eye bolts to it facing straight up, then put a harness on it. SO.....i think i have a piece of shiny metal.... eh, i really do like the look of it in the car tho so im not really crying... As far as the flanges go yes i think they are strong enough to hold in the event of an accident or crash but im not an expert at such things. They mount to the car with 4 bolts and then are tied in to the bottom flanges through the strut bar with 2 more bolts. the ones in the bottom are welded i believe to the frame. Ill be posting pics and everything else a bit more but Non Stop Tuning is going to do a Blog Entry on my car so im going to wait untill after that comes out before posting more pics. Sorry OP wasnt trying to jack your thread although i guess i did ![]()

Im going to have to, but i don't like that they can slide from side to side and that over time they will damage the finish on the metal from rubbing.... But i guess it probably doesn't matter at my level. Ahh well.
