:icon17: the first issue i've had over and over with lowering springs running progressive rate was that the initial turn-in response was sloppy resulting in buying more parts like swaybars just to compensate.

then later on i knew stock dampers were still too soft and ended up either getting coilover kits or getting adjustable dampers.

if you're going cheap, dont have arse it, go full arse with linear rate springs with a mild drop, or just leave it stock. :p cause i can bet you that stock setup will be better than swift + stock dampers.

for mild drop, get the nismo kit (springs and dampers). :)

they're developing these spring to work with our stock dampers..from what i was told both linear and progressive tech will be incorporated into the spring...

Can't wait for the release.

I was just on here looking for spring suggestions...looks like I'll be waiting for these...I know it's early but any ideas on approximate price range for the set?

I would definitely prefer a 1in drop but I can live with 1.2 front 1 back I guess...I can't go more aggressive even if I wanted to because of the driveways I have to deal with on a daily basis. (since you're taking suggestions, there's my two cents)

Yea looks like I will be waiting on these to compare them to H&R and Eibach before buying.

Swift springs have always been more oriented toward performance and stock shock compatibility/longevity than drop height. Definitely interested here. They'll probably have the mildest drop height out of all aftermarket springs - probably around 0.4" like the NISMO springs.

the spec-r's should have a little more of an agressive drop imo..1.2fr/1rr would be perfect in my estimation...this is swift so yeah they should be superior than eibach,h&r,tein,etc..all which I have run in the past..I have h&r's currently but will switch out once these are available..

if it is in the 1.2/1.0 range, think camber kits will be needed? I know a few of the Eibach guys got away will stock hardware
