Strut mount bearings will make this noise as the wear out. Open hood and put left hand on left strut mount and you should be able to reach steering wheel

Strut mount bearings will make this noise as the wear out. Open hood and put left hand on left strut mount and you should be able to reach steering wheel with right hand. Move the steering wheel left and right or have assistant do it as you moniter for noise at the strut mount be feel or ear. Hope that helps.
