What size are your new wheels? An alignment is always recommended when changing wheels or tires. Of course, you don't have to. But the trade-off of saving money by not getting an alignment is possible uneven tire wear that may require tire replacement sooner than if you had gotten an alignment. Your choice...
My Z is weekend fun, and I dont drive it really crazy. The tires are about 75% remaining..

Mine is base 18’ , so the new wheels will be 19*9,5 + 40 front; 19*10,5 +25 rear.

The only reason I dont want to do the alignment because im afraid they will scratch my new wheels...

I bought the new wheels ( Ferrada FR4 Silver) from fitment industry.com , with tires package, so it is free mount and balance.

May be I should do the alignment to prevent uneven tires wear..
