Guys - just wondering if anyone has compared or had experience with this pad relative to the stock ones that come with the Akebonos? Stoptech 370Z Street Performance Brake Pads

This is a very good replacement pad. Not for heavy track use, but a good replacement. Might also take a look at the Carbotech lineup as well.

Do you mean these would have heavy-fade on a track then? I've run Carbotech before, I know a rep for them out of Ohio up my way.

Just looking for something that won't need massive warm-up to grip but won't burn under heavy-braking.

They will still fade with aggressive track use. This is an aggressive street pad, with light track capability. Brake pads are very much a YMMV affair, so take everyone's comments, including mine, as a commentary.
