Default Koni shock help

I am trying to adjust the dampen settings on my rear Koni yellow shocks. They came (gently used) with the top hats on and already set to full soft.

I can't figure out what to get in there to adjust the setting. I have tried multiple allen wrenches without any success. I know its getting into the hole but it won't move at all. I'm afraid to put alot of force because i could break something inside.

Am i missing something here? Have never owned a set of these before. Thanks.

Hmm yeah you don't want to force it. It was a little sticky while turning it from what I remember and mine were new. Also remembering it being a pretty small Allen key. Can you not find the specs in the install instructions?

Thats exactly what it ended up being. I applied more pressure and it started to move freely. I was gun shy from watching the Koni videos that said not to damage the internal bits.
