Metal click when turning steering wheel

Hello Z community, There’s a metal click sound coming from the front when turning steering wheel either right or left but more when I turn right. It makes sound at

Default Metal click when turning steering wheel

Hello Z community,
There’s a metal click sound coming from the front when turning steering wheel either right or left but more when I turn right. It makes sound at a stop but when driving and backing up or forward when entering garage u can hear it. Took it to Nissan but they couldn’t put on lift I’m too low they said , I only have Swift Springs WTF. Please help. Thank u. Mods Swift spring SPL front camber a 2016 auto sport

Do all Nissan dealerships use same lifts? Is there such thing as a GTR lift

I thought all Nissan dealers had finally equipped themselves with GTR lifts, but I guess not. I'd call around and find one that has it, along with a GTR spec'd tech to look around. They usually know their stuff better..

My old man had to replace the lower ball joint on his 350 and he just bit the bullet on the whole control arm.

Whatever you choose, my recommendation would be to go OEM.

Check the SPL spherical bearing (heim joint) alignment on your camber arms, they need to be centered (page 4 of the install guide). Make sure they have not twisted, you could be hearing the bearing bottoming out.

I have no idea if ball joint failures are common. It looks like you drive a '16?
I find it hard to believe that you already have failure, not out of the relm of possible I guess...

What did you find?

The problem you described was what I had, especially at low speed when turning over a bump,
like a driveway or indentation. No such problem after a straighten of the heim and re-torque.
