I have seen pads start to squeal when they reach about 50% life. The cure I found was taking the pads off and slightly beveling the edge of the pad

I have seen pads start to squeal when they reach about 50% life. The cure I found was taking the pads off and slightly beveling the edge of the pad (like most new pads are). That may help but if you are going through that much work, just change to some good aftermarket pads. Lots to choose from!
