Can't say for the Z, but back in the day I had koni's on my 2000 Honda Prelude combined with Eibach springs and loved them.

If that was to me, I might be smart with electronics. But I'm learning the ways of performance.

Okay! 4 x Koni shocks ordered. Total shipped price = $847.00
Minus a 50 mail-in rebate = good deal

Now, should I swap to nismo Springs?

Hi

I have had Koni's before & they work great.
Only thing I would not recommend is to have the shocks on the hardest setting - very hard and stiff regardless of springs you have.

Like most of us I'm sure - these shocks are a great all rounder for DD & occasional spirited track use. Koni can recommend springs as a guide.

Cheers

I have them on my 2013, did it for autocross. Koni yellows with an eibach front bar made a good bit of difference. No height change, less body roll but the car still nose dives even on full stiff. I run full stiff front and 30% stuff rear.

If you're going to be in there for the Koni's may as well get the Swifts

Stock springs suck, in my opinion they bounce around the car too much especially on Chicago roads. Usually it's the other way around but my ride is much more compliant after installing swifts. Would never go back to stock.

So THIS is the reason?! Any others agree? I'm about finished with the crap stock suspension @ 55k miles of abuse / being abused.

I cannot have my car lowered much since all you morons moved to Portland and we have even less money to fix the roads with more people on the roads.

Open to suggestions on Springs, and more importantly: Where should I buy from without any games/gimmicks? Is there one seller for a koni yellow + spring combo on here?

I decided I will be changing my suspension again.I went with the Eibach Pro Kit Springs from Concept Z Performance this time around I highly recommend them as they offer a nice stance without being too low from street duty. I may be keeping the Tokico HP Blue struts and shocks as I had great luck with them at the track. The Koni yellow struts and shocks are very good quality and work quite well for street or track duty. The Tokico HP blue struts and shocks were one of the best struts and shocks I have used on my Z’s. All struts and shocks are not created equally. It depends what strut and shock manufacturer you prefer and how you want to give your business to?

How are the Tokico HP blues compared to OE On the street? Are they double or single adjustable?

Thanks
