I put the spring perflectly in place at the bottom and there gas a gap of 1in at the top in the rubber pad. I have desassemble and reinstalled everything

I put the spring perflectly in place at the bottom and there gas a gap of 1in at the top in the rubber pad. I have desassemble and reinstalled everything in place with a gap of 1/2in at the top and bottom and the spring took is place. I was not able to have a perfect fit at the top and at the bottom like your picture Senna. The spring I think was cut too short a little bit. :/
