How many miles on the vehicle? The stock pads have a fairly long life, but the wear will obviously depend on mileage, your driving style, etc. I'd inspect the pads

How many miles on the vehicle? The stock pads have a fairly long life, but the wear will obviously depend on mileage, your driving style, etc. I'd inspect the pads first ... if they're worn, it'll be obvious. They may only need some lubrication or it could be that you need to file down the top and bottom edges to prevent a "ticking" noise that can often result from the edges catching the rotor. To inspect/change the pads is no big deal ... especially if you have the tools and experience. Check the FSM for details. Of course, practice "safety first". Trust this helps.
