Will G37 Coilovers Fit the 370Z? Maybe not.

What do spring rates have anything to do with the coilovers being compatible with one another?

The V35 G's and Z33 Z's were always used the same coilovers. The difference in weight is significant between the V36 & Z34, but I don't see how that has anything to do with them not being compatible with one another.

It has a lot to do with one another. It doesn't have anything to do with fitment, but it has everything to do with ride quality and performance. For instance, if you can bolt your G35 coilovers up to the 370Z like you want, you will notice a much stiffer ride.

That was what I was getting at. It has nothing to do with fitment. Manufactures didn't seem to pay too much attention to that with the previous G's/Z's since they all had the same product.

If my HKS Hipermax III sports would bolt right up into the Z34, I would go ahead and do it since the weight difference between the 06 G35 Coupe doesn't seem to be much from a Z34 touring. But I don't think it'll be possible since it seems that HKS might go with a true coilover in the rear for the Z34 as they did with the G37.
