Stock fluid is DOT3. However, since you're in a 2014 and your reservoir is half-full, you might want to consider performing a full bleed, and switching to DOT4. A lot of members use Motul RBF 600 DOT4 in lieu of the stock fluid. Also, if your fluid is that low, I'd check the amount of wear on your pads, and replace them if there is little pad remaining. Otherwise, check for any leaks in the system.
