1. That is hella-dope-flush-stance...

2. It is "bagged their 370Z", not "bagged there 370z"...

I am here to help.

the general consensus for most people here is stance = safety risk and we tend to stay on the more responsible side of driving...

plus you didn't roll your fenders with a baseball bat so you already lost a few points.

btw welcome!

I was thinking about bagging my 40th -- briefly...

Just thinking about it caused this:

http://scontent.fsnc1-1.fna.fbcdn.ne...f5&oe=563F19DA

T-boned by a speeding driver.

If I were you (and I thankfully not because being me is hard enough) I would take those bags off, sell them to a Civic owner for parts, buy Swifts and Konis and then close this thread and pretend like it never happened.

Looks cool. Welcome to the jungle.

And for the records, I like my bags when they're filled with groceries:yum:

It's usually because we find it offensive to take a capable sports car and reduce it to a stanced out garage queen.

My personal feelings are very mixed on the subject. I understand the offense, however, I also understand that it's not my car and I don't get to tell people what to do with it. On the other hand, I never understood the appeal of the whole herra-frush movement. I don't know what makes it cool or what makes it look good. Is it just to be as close to Marty McFly as possible? Are we going back to the future? Perhaps an amphibious vehicle a la James Bond? It's not even that the wheels are matched to fit the wheel wells and seal up gaps. It seems to have gotten beyond that point. The requisite now is to simply have the chassis on the ground and shove the wheels in one way or another. I'm glad you chose a responsible method by going with bags. Most people chop springs or worse.

The funny thing is that the only other place where I see a chassis on the ground and the wheels at those angles are junk yards, and that's where I think these cars belong... And given how often these cars are destroying themselves going over bumps. It won't be long before they're in a junkyard anyway.

An analogy that I just thought of is that you took a capable sprinter (not world class, mind you) and you broke his legs and stuck him in a wheel chair. Now he's lower to the ground, slower than before, and getting over minor bumps and ramps are a pain. Your car is a paraplegic and airbags aren't going to make him as good as he was before.

Bagged370z 08-07-2015 04:53 PM

I wanted a different look and to try something new for this season so i went the direction of bags. Ill be honest, i do have mixed feelings if i like air ride or not. The ride quality is decent and it rides as if it is on a nicer set of coils surprisingly. Also being able to get into stepper inclines is nice with out having to worry lol But they also have down sides to them like, making sure you are constantly at a proper ride height for road conditions, air leaks, compressor failures, popping a bag ect.. Personally i think it is that different look that i was going for. All in all tho i will probably go back to my Robispec KW coils pretty soon.:tiphat:

Hold your ground yo.. hold yo ground!!! I'm here if you need me to hold you especially if your cute:yum: In all seriousness your Z is very show worthy. But considering how careful I have to be on coils I would ruin that in a day...I'm not that great a driver. But mad props for the look.

I could care less on other peoples opinion. I gave my two cents on it and created this tread with a purpose to see if theyre any other 370's on air. I was assumption this form was about the love of 370z's, not based on how they look.

Dcocci 08-07-2015 09:04 PM

NOPE! If you don't have the following mods, and ONLY the following mods, you're doing it WRONG!!

If you think I drive low you clearly do not know how air ride works. I ride alittle lower then stock Z's Lol :koolaidwall:

madwi 08-08-2015 03:31 AM

Toss up a few more pics if you don't mind. I personally dont think it looks bad at all. The ability to drive over a twig in the road and drop it on the ground when at a show is  Your wheels are tucked nice under the fenders also. :pics: of how you have everything mounted in the hatch.

DavidZ370 08-08-2015 04:11 AM

This thread is giving me cancer, i can feel it.

DavidZ370 08-08-2015 04:11 AM

Only one i have atm is on the highway. I can ride wheel flush with fender or tucking wheel a bit but I only ride that low when it is a completely smooth road.

JC-Nismo 08-08-2015 09:22 PM

Bad Azz to me, got it sitting nice and looks good all the way around.
