Overpriced suspension parts??

I was only pointing out some contributors to why it's so expensive. I did not make any baseless arguments. I'm a design engineer and deal with this stuff every day.

The parts may be worth the cost if you really need it. To get to the nickel and dimes of why it's so expensive you'd have to speak directly with the engineers and their suppliers. Typically companies will not just charge more (that much more) because they think they can. Don't get me wrong, they make profit, but probably not more than a reasonable percentage or else nobody will buy.

Probably, and possible however I did a little digging and came across an older thread on here where a member stated he was told by Voodoo13 the entire kit would run roughly $2800- when released.

Full billet drop knuckle

So you think they marked up the kit an additional $1570 for no reason? Giving them the benefit of the doubt, something has to have changed from their original estimate (e.g. material availability, market price, low demand, higher machining cost than expected).

Aside from this, the 370z tension rod will definitely require a larger stock than the Silvia rods you posted. Going to a larger stock can be pricey (this can be seen by going to grainger) and you can't ignore this or compare directly. It's apples and oranges.

As mentioned previously, calling them directly is probably worth your time. I doubt they will lower by $1000's, but you might be able to get them down or at least find out the reason for the high price. Hopefully I didn't waste too much of your time. Good luck with your search.

I'm not jumping to that conclusion, I was just reporting what I had discovered. I also feel they should have the benefit of doubt hence the way I stated the information. You're right on though the best answers will come direct when I make the call to Voodoo- Thanks for you time and please don't take what I wrote to DE.50 and apply it all directly to you. I appreciate your input and the good luck wish
