These things are the death of me. They add unnecessary time to my pad swaps. Anyone chunk them? Other than keeping the pads from rattling while the brakes aren't applied,

Brake caliper springs - do you use yours?
These things are the death of me. They add unnecessary time to my pad swaps. Anyone chunk them? Other than keeping the pads from rattling while the brakes aren't applied, I don't see the purpose. None of the race brakes on my other cars have had these. Do you run them?
