AeroJacket SS Carbon hood

Can someone who owns this hood please explain how they managed to get the locking hood latches installed? The holes in my aerojacket hood were completely different thread type than

Can someone who owns this hood please explain how they managed to get the locking hood latches installed? The holes in my aerojacket hood were completely different thread type than the latches and I couldn't install them. Had to put my stock hood back on, really frustrated :\
