Are these able to be adjusted to sit flush? I want to buy a set, but I don't want any hood bulge..

any word on how these work with a G37?

Just got these and put them on, I think there is a little bit of bulging on the drivers side... what exactly should I adjust to make this as minimal as possible?

They bulge b/c of the plastic covers toward the windshield.

I took mine and heated them up to bent them a little and all the bulge went away.

If you ordered them early today they should be to NM before the weekend. Typically 4 days to NM.

Just got mine in yesterday and installed today. Took 30 minutes to install and sits flush. Great product and service.

I just ordered these last Sunday it came in today! Going to install these tomorrow. Hopefully I won't have problems like some of you guys have.

Installed it and took less than 10 mins. Though it has slight bulge. Can't really tell.

Yes! When I ran my hands over the hood to fender it's not sitting flush with the fender but it's not really bad. I'm happy with it! Will prob go back and trim the plastic to let it sit perfect.

Anyways I also ordered Z1 370z car cover!

what to do with horrible noise with hood opening all the way, can i put some sort of grease there or what ?

Hey $haq,

You can certainly add a little lube to the struts if they are squeaking. Might be that cold Canadian winter ;)

If that doesn't fix the problem give us a call.

Just to post my feedback on these.

I tried other hood struts kit from the forum and they were causing alot of bulge and i had to remove them because i didnt have the time to troubleshoot the issue (also the seller wasn't responding that well). I gave Z1 Hood struts a shot and they didn't let me down. Driver side had just a little bulge but after re tighting and giving the car a ride they fitted perfectly. As for the strut force i'd say its perfect, you need to help them just before halfway and then they do the rest. Good job! I didnt received a Z1 sticker tho :(
