Hey Joe. Are you still making the V1 shroud? It shows sold out on your site.
I don't need the extra depth of the V2. Thanks. |

One more question though. How do you order the aluminum version? The details say to "click button below", but there's no button.

Order placed on the 24th, package arrived on the 27th.
Note: The bolts that come with it if you order the SS hardware kit are HEX Sockets. Joe, what size are they cause I need to go get a hex socket bit set. :icon17: And there isn't an "instructions" page included that I noticed, am I guessing it's just swap old parts 1 for 1, with washers? Will the plastic rivets be re-used or are bolts going in their place now as well? |

You should have received 3 new plastic rivets for the middle part. The rest use bolts/washers Hex key is a 5/32" , You can reuse the old bolts also which are 10mm head size. |

Joe, I have a bit finally and hopefully will have it installed early afternoon tomorrow. I'm going to document it for some people locally, I'll post them here in case you want to use them. :tiphat:

Any chance of changing the oil filter access door to the other side for those with oil relocation kits?
I would buy one in second, if that option was available  |

DIY ZSpeed Aluminium Undertray Install
12 Attachment(s)
Just Installed mine today! Install was super easy.
Tools Required: 10mm Socket for OEM bolt removal 5/32nds Hex Bit for ZSpeed Bolts Flathead screwdriver for pop rivets Onto the pics! Here's my plastic undertray, it's been in need of dire replacement for some time. http://www.the370z.com/attachment.ph...1&d=1365630092 ZSpeed Aluminum Undertray http://www.the370z.com/attachment.ph...1&d=1365630092 To install, simply remove your plastic undertray with all 16 bolts and 3 pop clips. I ordered my Undertray with the additional stainless steel bolts and they look great. There will be 16 bolts, 16 washers, and 12 receiver clips for the bolts to replace the OEM ones. Seen here: Old Clip http://www.the370z.com/attachment.ph...1&d=1365630092 New Clip http://www.the370z.com/attachment.ph...1&d=1365630092 You will be removing and replacing the clips for all of these places on the original undertray. http://www.the370z.com/attachment.ph...1&d=1365631186 And make sure you replace all 16 Bolts and 3 Pop Rivets when you're done. http://www.the370z.com/attachment.ph...1&d=1365631186 Thanks to AK370Z for those 2 pics. :tiphat: Make sure to keep the piles of clips separated so you don't re-use an old one. They will also be different colors so that can help differentiate as well. Side Bolts Installed http://www.the370z.com/attachment.ph...1&d=1365630092 Front Bolts Installed http://www.the370z.com/attachment.ph...1&d=1365630092 I went ahead and put the 3 plastic pop rivets back in to prevent the panel from rattling against the crossbar. They pop right back in. http://www.the370z.com/attachment.ph...1&d=1365630092 And of course, the amazing trap door... http://www.the370z.com/attachment.ph...1&d=1365630092 With the door removed, you can see you have plenty of clearance to get to the oil drain plug, and potentially the filter. I have a sandwich plate installed with my oil cooler, I'm not worried about draining, only about getting my arm articulated up in there to get the filter loose and removed. I'll post an update when I do my next oil change. http://www.the370z.com/attachment.ph...1&d=1365630092 http://www.the370z.com/attachment.ph...1&d=1365630092 |
looks awesome man!

price shipped to 17055..

Looks Great, If I do say so myself ;)
A few notes, You can re-use the old hardware if its in good shape, All the bolt threads are OEM size. We include the new J-Nuts in case the stock ones have rusted and are stuck or broken. Only the Stainless hardware kit requires the 5/32" hex bit, Standard hardware we offer that comes with the shields unless you upgrade to the Stainless is 10mm head like the stock stuff. Thanks for taking time to do this, I'm sure it will be a help to others! |
