I have a 2013 model Z and I was wondering, if I could have you paint the housings of the bumper mounted drl's and about how much you would charge to do so? I'm sure other 13-14 owners have wondered this.

Yea, move out of Canada lol. Your headlights are wired to automatically turn on as DRLs, we don't have that in the US. We can just turn on the parking lights, and the only thing on would be the LED rings in your car. If you car was here, we can easily rewire it ;)

We've done this on GTRs before and it can be troublesome. To open up the DRL it must be cut open, cannot be baked. Most we've done never had an issue, as we plastic weld them back together and silicone for extra protection. We can do yours but it's not something I want to offer for everyone and do many of them. If there is an issue, the job has to be done all over and I'll be in the negative $$. Hope you understand!

What is the added cost for the turn signal lights as highlighted in the attached picture. Or is this "Clear Lens Replacement & Projector Modification: $150 (INCLUDES LENS)" for both the lights and turn lights? Thanks!

That is a clear lens in the turn signal but we do no offer that mod for over 2 years now, unless the housing stays chrome. This is due to the reflection produced by the sun which will reflect and burn the housing (if painted). Kinda like frying an ant with a magnifying glass!

The $150 mod you mentioned is for the projectors, which increases light output and we create a sharper cut off line for the beam.

Anyone have a box/packing that's appropriate for this? Possibly even the box One Eighty ships them back to you in? If so, please PM if you're willing to sell/loan me the box.

So, just to clarify, the LED lights don't require any additional wiring on our end? Everything just plugs into the existing wiring harnesses?

Yes correct they will be plug-n-play

SwissCheese 02-20-2015 10:59 PM

Do you have any pics of black painted (preferably matte) housings that still have the OEM reflectors? I really want black housings, but don't want to lose the stock reflectors.

Very nice! Are your projector and turn signal housings painted, or is that their stock color?

Impressive work guys! Do you do any taillight work?

joker77 12-09-2015 02:09 PM

What is the typical turn around time if I ship the lights out to you? I live in Southern CA interested in landing strip (for the lights LOL!) and single Orb. Everything else stock.

Sent a PM for a quote.

Totally wish I had the money to do this. Would have to buy another set of headlights since the Z is my daily driver. :( ah well, one day maybe.

CremeFraiche 07-12-2016 11:22 PM

This question goes out to the guys who have had these headlights for a while now. Maybe about a year or more?

How has the integrity of the job held up? Any paint chips/melting? Problems with LED's?

ONEighty is top notch IMO

I had an issue with clear coat off-gassing in my gloss black housings they did for me and making my lenses appear cloudy.

They replaced the entire set of headlights, no questions asked, before even receiving my damaged headlights from me.

IMO their customer service and quality of work is as good as it gets, and they will make it right if its not to your liking. They do many other types of vehicles now too, I know they do a lot of BMW work.

ts1412 12-27-2016 10:28 AM

Quick question. Are these guys still in business?

Also, I have an 09 and was curious if I get the dual orb led option, then would I need a switch for them? Or would I be able to run them on auto? How would I go about having them on is what I am getting at.

Thanks all

They're still in business, but they don't get on the forums very much nowadays. You'll have better luck contacting them directly via email or phone.

Hey guys, just wanted to let everyone know this thread is alive and the pricing is current. We have not raised our prices in years! Sorry we are not so active on the forums, mostly you will see us on social media https://www.instagram.com/oneightynyc/

Attached are a few 370z jobs we've done recently

OptionZero 03-21-2018 05:15 PM

Don't forget me!
Work:
Stock gloss black housing
Trim around reflectors gloss black
Gloss black turn signal shroud
Stock amber reflectors
PG projector shroud
Dual Orb LED rings

It's not "that" different front stock Nismo, but i didn't like the chrome trim and the boring flat gray of the shroud

cdean112 01-25-2019 06:02 AM

Hey ONEighty - is there any risk that comes from opening the headlights up in terms of them getting cloudy in the future, moisture, etc?

Also, how difficult is removal for me to get the headlights off? I've never done anything like it before but am very interested...
thank you!
