Default The Berk Technology Time Attack BMW 135i

Hey everyone, I just wanted to start a thread about our time attack BMW 135i that we will be running in Redline Time Attack and Super Lap Battle this year. Although it's not a 370Z, it is somewhat relative to these boards as many of you already know our driver, Mike Bonanni (username:M.Bonanni).

We will be competing in the Street Tire RWD class against a few 370Zs on this board. We plan on competing in most, if not all, of the west coast events this season and we hope to meet some of you out there! The Bonanni Motorsports 370Z will also be on display in our pit area at all the events!

In the 2009 season, we made some great improvements to the car that got us within range of the podium in our extremely competitive class. During the off-season we are making even more progress with the car in hopes that we can knock off the necessary few seconds to sit on top of the podium a few times this year!

Here are some photos of the little 1er...

Stay tuned for updates as the race season progresses through 2010!

I seriously considered a 135i.

Just couldn't get passed the fact that the stock ones eat fuel pumps for lunch and dinner

I was going to hold off for a bit on the power/weight specs as those are going to be different in the coming few months once we get through with our pre-season prep. Last year the car weighed in around 3100 lbs. without driver and was putting out an estimated 360whp. For 2010, the weight will probably remain similar, however we are hoping to bump up that power considerably with a new tune from GIAC.

A full up-to-date mod list for the car can be found on M.Bonanni's website...
