Not sure how it works there (Aus), but many countries (not the US) only allow certain custom plates out per year and they go for a lot of money.

Each state has it's own set of rules and plates like you guys do, so as long as the word is not offensive and fits the combination of letters and numbers, then it's just a matter of buying it.

How expensive are custom plates to begin with? Texas charges 40USD and then another 35USD for the registration, pretty cheap and plenty of options.

using my state as an example and my plates ZED.37L they were $200 to order and then $90 per year.

Full custom plates with no dot "." e.g ZRATED are $400 per year

Total Rip!!

Damn! It's like, $25 a year here for customs, and no initial ordering costs.

haha selling plates got to you guys too?? In Dubai, there's like 5 pages worth in the classified section of number plates for sale.

In an auction last year, a number plate was sold for around $15 MILLION dollars!
