Default 10,000km service but what was done?

I just got my 10k service and on the sheet all they really did besides checks was an oil change.

Is my car meant to get to the 20,000km (next service) with only an oil change and a few checks?

I got this service free as part of my agreement when I bought the car. I hope they didn't just do a part service cause it was free...

Anyone else got their 10k service done yet? Feedback would be great.

I think that's all they do mate. Services aren't really much dude, but if you are worried, check out the service booklet that came with your cars manual it states what gets done in there. The main thing is the oil change though.

I just had my 10K service and they changed the oil but that's about it. Must admit though the auto shifts a bit smoother now. cost me $244 Doh should have got them to throw it in as well.

My 10K service is this Wednesday. I went and bought my own Castrol Edge 0W - 40 oil for them to put into it. My service is also costing $244. I am hoping that there some smoothness to the auto changes will be restored as well ! I will let you know what else they do in my service after Wednesday !

I'm getting my 370 serviced early, 5K on Wednesday. Changing the oil and oil filter I'll get another at 10K and from then on follow the service manual. Good to hear your auto is shifting smoother. I read somewhere that the auto learns your driving style.

I'm also getting the park assist option fitted.

Hallam! We are only 2 mins from each other! We could have a cruise everyday! Lol.

I haven't seen your car around. You seen mine?

You up for the next Melb cruise? Probably on gTRFan's dyno day.

I picked up mine on 4th June and I'll hit 12,000 within the next week.
I have noticed though that after the 10,000k service my economy has improved from 10.1L/100 to 9.8L/100

I'm getting mine done today @ 9000km which is a bit early but I wont have time closer to xmas.

I'll let you know what it says on the invoice.

Just for useless info, this is the complaints list i gave them. Did you guys have anything to report at 10k?
  1. Slightly rough idle in the warmer weather - please reset ECU.
  2. Gearbox shifts notchy when cold and not perfect when hot. Check Oil grade.
  3. Clutch thrust bearing noisy (we all get this but no harm in reporting it)
  4. Intermittent rattle from dash in front of steering wheel near windscreen
  5. Check for NAV firmware and map update

This is what they did -

Changed engine oil, filter and washer
Checked all fluids
Reset ECU, clear self learn
Remove wheels, inspect brakes and readjust
Check steering and readjust
Check operation of all lights
Check operation of windscreen wipers - haha
Road test

They did use Nissan synthetic 5W-30 as spec and said the mobil 1 stickers on the windscreen are just surplus. haha

Their findings
1. Idle smooth with reset
2. Gearbox normal. I'll replace it with Redline myself.
3. Thrust bearing IS noisy on these cars
4. Rattle didn't occur
5. No updates available

$251.80 for sweet fark all
