Hi OZ members,

I just picked up my 40th Anniversary Quartz 370z coupe on friday. I also own a modified evolution 8 and the cars are like night and day when compared to each other. Both have their unique traits but my main reason for upgrading was to get something more mature.

In terms of performance the 370z is a downgrade from the lancer evolution. The evo is a vehicle built purely to go fast with disregard to anything else, i enjoyed numerous track days with it. The 370z in my opinion was built with a compromise of performance/luxury which I can appreciate as I no longer am after a stupidly quick car.

The only modification I plan to do to the Z is a bolt-on catback system to provide some aural pleasure. I look forward to meeting some like minded individuals.

No pics unfortunately but it looks like any other quartz 370z coupe atm lol.

The past 4 days have been a treat driving the car, I am still babying it for the first 500kms. After that I will give it hell, this run in procedure has worked very well for my previous cars.

Im located in sydney. I am trying to source a 5Zigen ProRacer SP or HKS Dual Hi Power Ti Exhaust System. I will email a couple of suppliers in Sydney and provide feedback to the community if anyone else is interested.

CES aka Trevor is a legend in WRX circles.

In the late 1990's he pioneered the twin dump pipe and exhaust goodies!

For the 1998 WRX, I got the twin dump pipe and ran a Trust exhaust system.

For the 2002 WRX, I got a twin dump pipe and a CES custom exhaust.

When I see you Bigfish you can show me his handywork.

I recall Trevor had a mandrel bending machine for pipes so there is no loss in exhaust flow!

My first car was a corolla sportivo and CES were the only Australian workshop that made a bolt-on catback exhaust plus ported and coated the stock headers for the 2zzge. I had there products on my sportivo and it was top notch.

Im sure you would have a quality system if its made by CES.
