Well, I've got a new quote for a 2010 with 19" wheels from FleetPartners this morning, and the quote is slightly less than the original quote, so I bit the bullet and advised FleetPartners to cancel my original order (Titanium with 18" wheels) and place a new order (Carbon Silver with 19" wheels, Titanium no longer available).

The cancellation fee is $1320.

What are the details of your vehicle? Eg price, addons, delivery date?

Hey Z people,

I found this 18" vs 19" comparison. It was tested on 350z very interesting.

18 inch vs 19 inch tire comparison

My 370z was fresh of the boat on Wednesday. so hopefully in the next two to three weeks I'll be picking it up. If it comes with 19" bonus if not no problem. In the long run the 18" will be cheaper to replace : )

That's true for the 350 but not the 370 as the rolling diameter (circumference) has increased on the 370. Discussed here - http://www.the370z.com/wheels-tires/...s-tcs-abs.html

That just confuses me.

They look good and they fill the gap so I want them! :)

7AT with Rear Parking sensors and Floor mats. Under $62,000. Hopefully there is no issue with the cancellation as I am still awaiting confirmation from FleetPartners. The delivery date is likely be mid May.

On my way home this evening, I saw a Brilliant Silver Convertable, the 19" wheels look so HOT!

gumpy 03-12-2010 05:12 AM

you know what's cool, the 18" will show less km's than the 19" equivalent by 0.38%. 18 FTW =)

Rob46 03-12-2010 07:27 AM

I m pickig up my 370 roadster in the morning!!!! woohoo
shame I have to drive it straight to work :o(

Thats a crazy price on a 2010. Good stuff. Who's the new deal through if not Fleet Partners? Oh and as a fleet do you mean GST free?

Ronnie, get onto that deal mate. Too good.

Crazy price mate! Pray tell. What do I need to do to pickup one at the price? Your advise would be great as I'll hopefully be buying my replacement Z in the next week or so..

The new deal still with Fleet Partners, I just asked them cancel the existing order and re-order the new. Still awaiting their confirmation.

The price is drive away, not sure if it includes GST.

Well that wasn't too helpful..

All good. I'll give Fleet Partners a buzz on Monday and get them to match yours. Your details shouldn't be hard to find with your cancelled order and that awesome price.

boardingnath 03-13-2010 05:13 PM

Usually the pricing you get for novated leases is less GST, so it's true list price would be about $68,000.

AH370Z 03-15-2010 12:53 AM

I wrote a nice letter to Nissan about this issue and they called me back and said that the 2010 370z does not come with the 19, only the roadster. I argued with them and said I had some very good sources and also mentioned those who have placed orders and been told they come with the 19's

I wrote to the CEO by the way but Im sure i was just talking to someone low in the pecking order.

So now im confused

It would of just been someone from Nissan's customer relationship centre or some crap like that.

They just go off what the website says.

Hi Rob,

I've got the quote infront of me, it does include luxury car tax and on road costs. You may not like to hear this, but It is under $62,000 drive away no more pay.

Cheers,

Could you help a fellow Z fan out and provide us with a
scan? You can blot out specifics but keep price.

It'll give some of us great ammo to bargain with!

evse82 03-15-2010 05:51 AM

So it's obviously on lease? Aren't there tax breaks etc for leased vehicles via fleet deals?

Hey I'm going to write one too, it seems like they are trying to quieten everyone down. I mean, thus far, Nissan hasn't update anything for the coupe regarding the wheels, even the latest marketing material. But this doesn't mean it wont change suddenly.....

Hi Majestik,

I'm sorry I don't have a scanner so unable to scan the quote. You can contact Fleet Partners on 1300 882 266 and ask for Rory for a qoute. Alternatively, go to below website and click on the Launch Calculator, select the car and options then fill in the details in page 2 & 3. They will send you a qoute with discount in 2-3 days.

Fleet Partners : Novated Lease

May be Novated Lease does not incur GST as stated by others in this thread? Do we have an accountant here who can clarify this?

The Luxury Car Tax and Stamp Duty in the quote are $1,447.89 & $3,155.65 respectively.

Edit: I had another look at the quote, and I think it excludes GST as the only taxable item in the quote is "Luxury Car Tax/Non Reclaimerable GST"

Yeah i'm an CA, leases you don't pay gst because your company will "pay" and then "claim" it back... so it's dropped off from your point of view.

even without gst... i still think it's cheap... esp for a MY10 where they're in no rush to get rid of them... jealous...

Man, The more I read about these 18" and 19" is really screwing my head. My 370z has arrived but not at the dealers yet. I ask my dealer if it comes with 19" he checked and said no. I wasn't suprised and he said it's the first series of 2010 and the 19" will be the second bla bla bla and you've been waiting for so long bla bla bla and your 370z should be in the show room today or tomorrow, I have been waiting and waiting but no calls. Maybe cos I have been waiting for such a long time my mind is F*@King with me.

I'm on the blink of cancelling my 370z, loose money, reorder and wait for another month or two. I'm confused! Maybe I should have not read all these comments.

My advice is to cancel based on them not telling you about no 19"s.

Believe me. You don't wanna regret your decision every time you sit in your car...

There's a good chance you can make up the difference lost by bargaining hard or even going to another dealer. Remember, the march 2010 model is the same MRSP as the old one...

Talk to your dealer and say that you have seen the recent Bulletin from Nissan which confirms the 19" and to swap your order with a March 2010 car. Either that or cancel and walk away from that dealer.

I totally agree... they wont want to lose a sale. If they do, they deserve to lose it lol

Something's not right here, in Sydney I know of a guy who has taken delivery of his new white z and it's got the 19" on them... he took delivery 4 days a go...

...Just to make things even more confusing! My understanding was that it will begin from April onwards (MY2010). Damn i'm gonna get envious when I start seeing all these Z's with 19s on them :shakes head:

I think Nissan should be loyal to their first year buyers and atleast offer the 19s at a discounted rate?
