Default driving in sport shift mode

was wondering if anyone else dives their z in sport shift all the time?
if you do, answer me this: if i'm driving around 60/70 km's can i stay in 4th gear around 2000/2500 rpm? or do i have to keep shifting till i get to 7th gear traveling at 60/70 km's ? does this make sense anyone?
