Hey started a thread a few months back about re-designing the dash as well. I had the center dash piece scanned at a company and they gave me the point cloud. You can find the thread here: Tesla styled screen setup

Hope that helps getting you started and good luck! I know mine has been a huge process. More than I expected but I am also doing a complete dash redesign too.
