He does have his moments that's for sure. I reckon I've seen him a bit too much now though.

Back on topic - I had an idea. This is all theory so feel free to tell me if this will not work:

If I identify the RGB (and sync) cables going into the factory screen then I should be able to wire those into a new screen.

If I can do this, then I just need to add a switchbox which allows me to select the factory input or the car pc. In car pc mode I will be able to use the touchscreen as normal.

This does require the RGB signal to be standard but I don't think they would make something bespoke just to be difficult do you?

All opinions appreciated
