Planning on Upgrading Sounds

I had two KFC-XW12R's ran on a KFC-XW12R 2000W D class. I had two KFC-XW12R 6x9's and two KFC-1795PS ran on a KAC-8406 4 channel. And two Excelon tweeters. The Bose is the best factory system I have heard. It's no where near competition level, of course. But I am impressed with it's clarity and reproduction for a STOCK system.

Check out the factory RF system in a Xterra or the mark levinson in a Lexus ISF. Trashes the bose system which sounds like it's coming from a washing machine.

I will eventually upgrade. I've used Kenwood Excelon, Pioneer Premier, and Rockford Fosgate for years. Mainly because that is what my local audio shop sales and promotes. I'm ready to move onto something else on my next custom system. I'm interested in doing one sub. I've seen a lot of clean JL set ups. But I've always done two 12's. Any advice on one sub/amp combo? I don't need over kill but I do want something with plenty of power.

Customize it to your taste 370zcorey. You're the one ultimately that needs to be satisfied with it when you're done. Be creative, unique, & most of all have fun with it. :-)
