Default Pioneer AVH-X2600BT; what Adaptors are neededdddd

Hi Guys,,,

I've recently moved from owning mazdaspeed3 to new 370z, and i've got to say, wow, i'm loving every bits of it.

well off to the actual topic,
i've decided to purchase AVH-X2600BT to replace snappy sounding stock audio.
It is my first time ever purchasing aftermarket radio for any car, but why is this harder than anticipated...
I call up one place, they tell me i don't need any adapter, different place tells me i only need steering wheel control adapter, blah blah blah,,,,

so my question to experts out there,,, What exact harnesses or adapters do I need if I was to purchase AVH-X2600BT from Ebay,,,, not crutchfield so to speak.
I'm definitely getting Steering wheel control adapter and Reverse Camera...

Thank you in advance!

yah, you will need a harness, fm adapter, and steering control (pac preferred, but big will say axxcess and you will post later you cant get it to work and i tell you i told you so and so on).

you wont be needing the bezel trim though. you can use your stock one.

i have the 2500BT in my dd. it's a nice unit. i run 4500BT on my Z and my G.

Wow, Thank you for your fast response... you see,,, I have no clue as to what you're saying,,, like pac preferred,,,, sorry for lack of research before posting this, but will have to look them up in different websites..

for someone who has experience, where is the best recommended website to purchase..
i know crutchfield.com is really nice, but their AVH-X2600BT seems to be $70-$100 more expensive compared to other sites,,,

Thanks again @kenchan for your help!!

I guess Crutchfield purchases comes with Installation gear, which includes in dash receiver kit, metra 70-7552 receiver wire harness and antenna adapter...
They aren't that expensive if you look at it this way, i guess?

yah, crutchfield is kinda over priced, but they give you the stuff you need for the install so start there and maybe on your next car or next install you can figure it out on your own. i usually just buy my stuff on amazon since i have prime and they got some real nice prices there.

and GL on the install.

oh yah, one tip. after the first step (pulling up the shifter trim), make sure you place a towel under there before placing it on your center consol...because the metal tabs will scratch your center console if you dont. ive seen it too many times on folks installing.

GL!

yah, it's not really hard to do, but i can understand being nervous on the very first install.
also it helps to have the right set of tools to make the work go smoothly.

my kids luck out cause they can just watch me do it. lol to them working on a car is normal
