I couldn't get my mirror tap pins to stick in far enough to stay plugged in. I unplugged the connector and used a volt meter to find the correct wires.

I couldn't get my mirror tap pins to stick in far enough to stay plugged in. I unplugged the connector and used a volt meter to find the correct wires. Then trimmed off some of the tape and soldered the wires directly together. Re taped the wire bundle and plugged it back in. I can't remember which two wire colors without removing the tape but it wasn't what you would think. It wasn't black to black and red to red.

Does anyone remember what color wires? I'm not sure if it matters or varies between the years but mine is a 2012 touring. |
