Help with Pioneer Install

Dash is put back together. I bought a USB and Aux input, which replaces the 12v power in the armrest. So it looks factory and if i plug my iphone

I bought a USB and Aux input, which replaces the 12v power in the armrest. So it looks factory and if i plug my iphone in to charge or for ipod mode, its just hidden away in the armrest. Is the metra dash kit designed to remove the gap around the head unit? I might get that in the future, as well as a backup camera and maybe new speakers. So far im loving the unit..got myself a nismo background.
