Infiniti Kappa 6.1

I have read many reviews and purchased these speakers, i was wondering if anyone has any idea on how big of a gauge i should go on these? i want

I have read many reviews and purchased these speakers, i was wondering if anyone has any idea on how big of a gauge i should go on these? i want to add a sub later on as well.

Are you asking what gauge speaker wire to run to them? 14 should suffice to crossover, and out to woofer, 18 from crossover to tweeter.

Yep Above, what he said. I run 14GAU from Amp to the Mids in the doors, and 18 from Crossover to the tweets.

yeah... i took another look at them, they seem to be damaged w/out a tear on them. and thanks i did do the rewiring with better wires, the people who did them used really crappy wires that would snap if tightened slightly... not my lucky day.

How does these speakers compare to the alpine SPR-60C???

I had infinity reference speakers on a another car previously and they sounded great. so I don't doubt that the kappa are good too.

I would take the alpines over the infiniti's as they have a smoother sound IMO

I've had both in my S2000. I ended up replacing the Kappas with the Alpines. Also, keep in mind that the Kappas are 2 ohm speakers and the Alpines are 4 ohm.
