Well, I mean its a new product so im not expecting ridiculous numbers but not even one! Slightly confused as to why no one has jumped on this yet. I guess the whole NEW PRODUCT might be hitting a wrong nerve? Or maybe lack of information? Information is on the first couple pages...

I'm thinking it is probably a cost issue.

Minsu 12-02-2013 12:06 PM

Hmmmm so if I could get some input on why pricing would be an issue this would help me immensely, the price on these two products are pretty decent for what you get. As listed in the first couple posts im sure its more than just a price issue. The product is great, just let me know whats stopping you guys and ill try to tend to it as fast as possible.

OhGizmo! Review: The DR500GW-HD Dashboard Camera | OhGizmo!

I can have this for the same price ($250ish) from another forum member who sells dashcams. How does your product differ?

I can't find a lot of user reviews for your product online. Do you have a site with some reviews you can link me to?

Minsu 12-02-2013 01:00 PM

So ive done some research and it seems that there was a comparison done between my

product and the DR400 HD. So the main thing between those two was the camera

quality. Now we all know just because something is 30 megapixels doesnt meant its

better than something that is 14 megapixels. Now it seems that Both products are very

high end in terms of being a premium product. Carid has our product up right now at

carid.com/itronics And due to this being fairly new here in the US market you probably

wouldnt be able to find much other than amazon and other online retailers. Again this is

korean product just like the DR500GW-HD. Build quality looks great on both product. Our

product is smaller and more compact in design making it easier to create a stealth box

for it in the future. We also have a non interrupted power cable as well for the product.

Both product seems to look good but again its form over function. It seems the dr500

has wifi but it seems like it became more of a con than a positive during the review.

Other than that our product has firmware updates and software updates. The software

seems to be very similar and honestly speaking so do the specs on the cameras. Being

that both of these are made in korea im sure some parts are similar. But again after

watching the footage from the DR500HD it seems to be not as crisp and clean as the

ITB-100hd. Ive been driving with mine for about a month now and let me tell you that

the camera quality is amazing. If you need more videos ill upload them once im home, the

upload rate at work is terribly slow.

I suspect it is a very good price for what you get; I don't think it is "over priced" at all The question is what functions does the consumer need and how well do they need to be done? Perhaps you are offering the GT-R version when most folks just want the Sentra version (keeping my analogies Nissan oriented)

I'm a big fan of dash cams, and I have captured footage that was used to settle a dispute (I wasn't involved in it). I'd rather have your model, but the lesser quality one I bought sufficed.

I think you need to make a case for why consumers need the quality and features of what you are offering versus what can be had for much less. Remember, it's not just listing performance statistics you must translate into something meaningful to the consumer. E.g. if yours is 5 mp and the competition is 3 mp, tell us why 2 mp difference is worth x dollars difference.

Weekend Bump, on brighter side of news we got our first PO from Carid!

All im saying is that best one would be ip security camera that saves video on remote server, that way if god forbid somebody steals your car or camera at least you will have the footage.

Did you ever get the night video?

From my knowledge there are no IP cameras within an affordable range that has even remotely decent image quality. The ones we actually carry are around $120 Dollars and need to go through a separate website or host to save the files and to replay them and its not the best image.
