Default Bluetooth misbehaving—any ideas?

This morning when I started my car up, strange thing happened. As soon as my phone connected to my car the car registered an incoming phone call from my most recent received call. Tried answering, nothing happened, just kept ringing.

So I checked my phone, and there was no incoming call and no missed call. My car's bluetooth system kept ringing. Finally I just reset the bluetooth connection by turning my phone's bluetooth on/off, seemed to clear the problem.

Any one else ever experience this? Any one know what the problem is? For what it's worth I use a Nexus 4.

If it happens again I don't want to be distracted by pulling out my phone while driving and resetting my bluetooth... I might hit a center median or something.

I experienced similar issues w iPhone software upgrades lately. Had to turn ALL bluetooth off then reconnect (u should reset on HU too by turning it off then back on). Steering wheel controls wouldn't work, not so much the phone calls although that was probably messed up too i just had not received any calls. Had to reset twice lately. Ugh.

I'm having another issue where my new phone isn't registering or being picked up.

I recall when I have set up my previous phones their was a limited number of slots that could be assigned.

Well I have had several phones over the past few months and they would auto register.

But not this time, anyone know how to go into the bluetooth settings in the car audio system?

The phone is a Samsung GS3, I had one previously and that configured fine. I just think I'm out of available slots and all the previous phones are sold so I can't go in and remove.

I don't have an owners manual since I bought the car used/private party.

Thanks!

If I remember correctly 5 is the limit.

There is a 2009 owners manual in the forums, have you looked in there.

section 4-58
