I have a couple of questions. I am new at this. The instructions never mentioned disconnecting the battery. Should I do that? I don't want to deploy and air bag or something crazy.
It became obvious from other threads removing the gear shift knob for an M6 is not easily done; I will work around that. Everything else looks straight forward except where to rout the wires to the switch itself by the cup holder. So I can take some pride and be able to remove this at anytime I am opting to do it myself. Is there anything I need to be careful about besides keeping track of a few dozen screws?
