i mentioned this a few times, but if anyone's interested, you can make your own gasket to close up that gap using black hard felt. most art stores carry it,

i mentioned this a few times, but if anyone's interested, you can make your own gasket to close up that gap using black hard felt. most art stores carry it, or you can buy them online. the one i use, product name is EZ Felt.
you can use a sharp knife and a ruler to cut the hard felt to size. ive been using this product for over 10-15yrs.  i have no gap on my HU install with factory trim.
