Yep. Same one I put in my 2012; AVH Pioneer X4500BT. Did the video mod and works great. Love the system as it works directly with my iPhone4s. Just step into the car and audio plays from the iPod and or Pandora via BT. Now I just need to get the Advanced Apps part working...

looking good so far, cossie! you got more gap than mine around the bezel. hummmm.... is that on tilt?

you going to hardwire all those loose wires right?

cossie1600 04-18-2013 01:04 PM

Yes the screen is on tilt, I found the screen is easier to read tilted. (one of the main reason why i went with 4500 rather than 2500)

I will fix the wire eventually (waiting for parts to come in), been rough trying to work on the car while babysitting.

By the way. The bluetooth works good on my end, but everyone who spoke to me said there is so much road noise on the other side that it makes it impossible for them to hear. Do you guys have a fix?

sounds good, cossie.

you can place the mic at the corner of the driver side a-pillar and ceiling, or where i put it, which is next to the rear view mirror on the ceiling. both locations work fine. :)

just clip the mic clip into the ceiling and it should hold pretty securely.

About to order my car audio stuff. Am I missing anything? I think I need to add an iPod cable.

Nice, I couldnt get it to work with a relay as the new unit requires like a 2 sec delay before you can apply the ground to kill it

There's no harness if he has the Bose (not sure what his trim is).

kenchan 04-25-2013 11:50 AM

that's possible cause it appears there are differences in the delay time between the relays.

i know one of them did not work on my 4100DVD in my G, so i have a generic toggle sw wired up in the cubby.
