I love my kickers. I've had them since 2004 and they've been going strong. Sadly when my car slid into a ditch (not by driver error), somehow one of them got too much of a horizontal jolt, and I'm guessing something broke inside the body. It makes noise, but you can tell something is loose inside. So I've unwired that one and am just rocking 1 of the 2. It still hits Hard by itself.

The only downside is since 2004, they have changed the look/color of the model, so I can't just get 1 new one. I've got to buy 2 to have them match.

Hey guys:

I'm thinking about upgrading my factory Bose/Nav system sub. I've read a lot of the posts about adding a LOC etc. I'll just be adding the sub and keeping the remaining speakers (for now). I really don't want a sub in the location of the Bose sub since most I've seen look like they may get damaged if something is laid on top of that area.

My question is; are there any sub boxes that mount by the strut bar that don't interfere with the Touring model cargo cover? I like the look and reviews on the Zenclosures, but they don't let you use the cargo cover. I appologize if this has been asked and answered (looked and couldn't locate).

I'm thinking exactly the same thing and so far I've found the Pioneer down fire shallow unit TS SWX251 and the JL Audio CP 108LG W3v3 are two that are low enough to fit under the bar and the cover and between the side panels. These are smaller though so not sure what to expect. I don't want something to blow my head off, just something that is cleaner and hits a bit harder than that crap Bose "sub".
