I think the Bose system in the Z sounds ok, must better than the base and looks nicely integrated in the dash. I always prefer spending money on performance first

I think the Bose system in the Z sounds ok, must better than the base and looks nicely integrated in the dash. I always prefer spending money on performance first and don't have any real urges to change up the audio system, even though I know aftermarket setups will blow the Bose out of the water.
That said, it can get pretty loud with minimal distortion. There isn't much bass, mostly because the road noise and FI exhaust drown that out. Sitting with the car off allows the bass to be heard. It's all about what your priorities are I guess.
