just would like your thought's on the nav

Google maps doesn't work well without service, although if you know where you're going, I think you can preload maps if you know you're going to be out of range.

Google maps doesn't work well without service, although if you know where you're going, I think you can preload maps if you know you're going to be out of range. I also like how the onboard system will lower the volume of the audio system when it's giving directions. I guess I just like the always available, nicely intregrated onboard nav, over a cell phone app, plus it doesn't cost me anything to use.

A plus for Google, though, is that the phone map is probably more up to date than the onboard maps. Plus, your google route takes into account traffic, which requires an XM subscription for the onboard nav. I don't live where it really matters much, though.
